Auf Wiedersehen, Reichstag Dome

Well,not quite goodbye - it's just that members of the public will not be able to go up there any more!

The day after this photo was taken, the German parliament announced that due to security concerns, the magnificent dome atop the Bundestag building would be closed to the public.

It's quite a shame as not only is it a stunning piece of architecture, it also gives one of the best views of central Berlin!

Just as well we went up there last time we were in town!
