Freezing freesia!

Brrr... it's cold out there. I had to rescue the tortoise today when I saw that the critter who's uncovering her periodically is our very own Whisky-cat. Perhaps Whisky is missing the old reptile and I'm sure he doesn't wish to kill her, but good grief. I hastily re-covered Omar and placed the mesh lid of the BBQ on top of her. I don't wish to give the wrong impression, but the BBQ lid will stop Whisky from scraping the soil covering Omar's shell. Omar should stay warm under the soil, but I have no intention of cooking her. The BBQ lid will not be joined by the BBQ bottom.
