Monochrome World

The light today was making everything look a very snowy black & white. Hardly any colour anywhere.

This field in the woods near my house is very dear to me and I was very upset yesterday to hear that Aberdeenshire Council have given the go ahead to a new housing development here despite significant local opposition.

Sometimes these days you just hear Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" running through your head constantly...

Or is that just me?
