Kangaroo Valley Road Trip

Returning from the South Coast we decided to take the cross-country route through Kangaroo Valley. Winding uphill on a series of tight hairpin bends, where fortunately we didn't meet any of those gigantic Aussie trucks on a blind corner but did pass through forests of Tree Ferns, we eventually arrived at the Cambewarra Lookout. Apparently on a good day it's possible to see for miles along the coast but our day was hot and humid and the visibility very restricted. This was the first of our jaw-dropping views, though the second at Fitzroy Falls resulted in wobbly knees a swooning head and a desperate desire not to look down. I felt OK if I looked straight out but couldn't cope with the glimpse of the earth many hundreds of metre's below seen through the cracks in the platform. I never did manage a full length view of the waterfall.
