Ice on the pond

Lots of frosty and snowy pictures on Blipfoto today, so I thought I'd add another. I had a good walk round the village and took some good winter shots of the allotments then spotted the ice on the pond at the fountain. Looks like someone's been having fun throwing stones in to break up the surface.

There was lots of activity on the green, men hard at work putting up a giant marquee structure for the Christmas Food Fayre next weekend. I hope this cold, sunny weather lasts till then.
