B grade snow

Okay, so the snow stuck a little bit.

Year 1 football was called off this morning. Why don't they call it off when the rain is horizontal but do call it off when there's a tiny bit of snow.

We went shopping to Cribbs Causeway (Bristol's Bluewater!). Didn't really venture much beyond John Lewis in this annual festival of consumerism.

Had to buy a new boys coat for Son #1 and spent a long time trying to get him away from what he wanted and somewhere nearer to what I hoped he would like.

The boys in his class seem to be going through a no coat phase which has unfortunately coincided with very cold weather.!

Took sanctuary in the John Lewis cafe and spent a good half hour waiting for son #2 to drink a hot chocolate spoon by spoon.

If it sound like a moan - it's not. I love them to bits.
