The wicked queen

We went to see my friend Elizabeth play the Wicked Queen in a pantomime. I tried in vain to take a good picture of her in her costume, but this is the best I got. She was wonderful in the part - a new departure for her. She also made the rather magnificent crown ..

Great way to spend a very chilly evening. Down to -5C here. The snow fell thicker than anticipated and more tomorrow perhaps?
