Snowy woodland

Home alone this weekend, so had a nice long sleep then decided to make the long trek to Straiton - just outside the bypass, but on the opposite side of town to me and an hour on the bus. We're thinking of doing some decorating so I wanted to look in Ikea and Laura Ashley for inspiration. Didn't find any, but did have some meatballs in Ikea. Yum.

It was fairly snowy at Straiton, maybe an inch or more of proper fluffy stuff, which was pretty. I was glad to be wearning my walking boots.

On the bus home, found out that DrWKD had not gone out of town as planned, so got off the bus at hers to hang out and watch X Factor. Nice to try out her new sofa, which is veeeeeeeeeery comfy.
