Here, the stage of the Ipswich Regent is set for an afternoon of children's entertainment featuring Bob, Wendy, Angelina Ballerina, Barney and others including a cameo from Pingu no less with his fish flavoured ice cream!

Since the theatre's opening in 1929, it has also been known under two other names, the Gaumont and, for one year only, the Odeon.

It is currently run by Ipswich Borough Council, who took it on following controversy over its future in 1989.
