Saturday evening I drove south to visit one friend also very keen of audio and hifi equipment. Actually he is very serious in his interest as his house is old and starts to be a bit worn and would need some attention but most of his spare time goes to trying and occasionally buying new stuff. He also has some old gear laying around and is really interested to share his thoughts with fellow enthusiasts.

His main system has Acapella horn speakers and now he is building a second small scale system for those small Harbeth minimonitors. At his place heard how really good and synergetic system sounds like with plenty of dynamics, resolution and also ability to reconstruct musical those valuable experiencies for our pleasure. I'm sure that my path with this hobby is going to be different but still have to say that he has gone quite a long journey with his main system. Also the minimonitors sounded truly excellent and might end up to my shortlist if need to downsize when moving to the Ylikiiminki.
