Angel in the Fields

London is not a Jarvis city. You can find Jarvis bars in London if you look hard enough, but there are usually a good couple of Tube stops between them, and Jarvises do not like the London Underground - for the Jarvis is a surface dweller, not a rat. So it is exceedingly rare to be in London and decide to have a drink, walk into the first bar that you see and find that it has A) good beer; B) reasonable prices; C) friendly, competent bar staff; D) an absence of assholes five-deep at the bar; E) very pleasant decor, and F) a slightly non-generic name, such as was the pleasant surprise at the Angel in the Fields in Marylebone. It ticked all the boxes - and Jarvises sometimes want a large number of boxes to be ticked.
