Wild as ........

I fully intended to blip the drainage lake at Roxton which has now completely frozen over. It doesn't seem two minutes since I was chasing dragonflies! It's pretty bleak up there at the moment. Anyway as I said I thought that Roxton would be my blip until I went into the garden as the sun was going down to check the bird feeders. The sun was sinking and there were some very dark clouds, I thought there may be something special on the cards and I was rewarded with this spectacular sight. I have not processed the colours in anyway but have cropped the image to more of a letterbox shape as I think it works better :)
