Cactus Showdown

I spotted a beautiful flower on my one potted cactus as I left for work yesterday morning...

This morning, the cactus in the pot next to it was also sporting a flower... three times the size of yesterday's one!! I don't recall ever seeing a flower this size on any of my cacti. What make these flowers even more special is the fact that they only last for one day. By tomorrow morning this one will also be gone. It will be many many months before they'll have flowers again.

I feel so blessed to have had the chance to see these thorny monsters looking so beautiful... two mornings in a row:)
