Always remember my first personal stereo,it was the size of a brick and almost as heavy,batteries would last about an hour if you had to fast foward to find a song.Still remember how strange it seemed to hear music when you were outdoors. Sure I saw one in the museum.
Its been a good year with live music with Salsa Celtica,Maceo Parker,Scritti Politti,The editors, Starsailor ,Beck,Radiohead and Snowpatrol at Meadowbank,Scissor Sistors Gnarls Barkley,Basement Jaxx,The Zutons and too many pub bands.
Roll on next year.
