Today's the day ..................... to find a view

There's not a medium pair of adjustable crampons to be had in the whole of Kendal - and we are not short of shops selling equipment for the outdoors, I can tell you?! This early snowfall has caught everyone on the hop.

Was on my way back to work after my fruitless lunchtime sortie when I suddenly noticed this great view of Kendal Castle across the river. It was beautifully framed between buildings - the only trouble was, the best place to take the photo was in the middle of the road.

And I can tell you - some drivers have just got no patience at all .........
