The Long Goodbye

This is Copacabana Beach from our hotel rooftop terrace. It has been slightly overcast and only around 32 degrees celsius (BRRRR!), so the locals have stayed away from the beach.
We are currently twiddling thumbs, caught in the netherworld of not having a hotel room and waiting for our bus to the airport.
Our flight has been delayed due to snow in the UK. Lucky you - we have been sweating in our swimming togs here - it's no fun, believe me!

I get one day at home and then we are off to Butlins at Skeggy - two firsts for me - for the folk weekender. Hope we can get there.
