Ironing news

I have a small confession, I quite like ironing.

Whilst I was ironing tonight I was wondering why I like ironing because nobody is supposed to like ironing.

One thing I do not do when I am ironing is think much. And sometimes I find thinking can be an exhausting business. So maybe that is why I like ironing.

Maybe I like it because it is what is. No variables, no options, no discounts nor corners to cut....it is plain and simple, a job to be done.

What does it say that it matters to me that my kids go to school with shirts all ironed yet I don't care a jot if their peers' are not?

And my caveat to my ironing addiction...before you ask, is I only like ironing our stuff.
