Fr John writes:

Dear John & Mary
Hope you are fine over there. How is your home and other busy works?
I do remember you in my prayers. We have just got one rain last
night. So the people of Lusangazi are busy with cultivation.
The next week starting from 6th Dec. the students are having their first term exam. Hope our students will improve in their studies. On 10th we will have our PTA meeting. (Parent teachers association) The construction work for the girl?s hostel has reached at the roof
level. We wholeheartedly thank you for your contribution towards its
construction. Do you have any plan to support as I had indicated in
to the budgeted plan regarding the roofing? The cement which we received from you has finished by now.
At the moment:
100 Bags Cement: @ 2,400. 00 = 240,000.00
No. 62 of 19? Tin sheets 3420*62 = 212,040.00
No. 12 Ridges 900 = 10,800.00
N0. 50 @ K1000 timbers = 50,000.00
Nails 25kg @ 500 = 12,500.00
MK 525,340.00
Transport and labour etc we will see it. Sorry for disturbing you.
Your YES or No answer is most welcome with abundant blessings from God.
Have you received any answers from Volunteers? Is there one who
would able to come by mid January 2011, at least for three months?
(English teacher) Let God be intervening in all our endeavours in
the mission.
With Love and Prayers

This is one of our many community project involvements.
The secondary school in its second year and has over 120 students. We are supporting girls, firstly by helping to build a hostel and four of our friends are paying the fees for the poorest, but also the hardest workers. Some come from up to 200 km away.
Fr John is Indian and an amazing operator and all his work in to the highest standard.
As you see he iis looking for volunteers!!
