What more is there to say ...

Just like elsewhere in the UK we have deep snow everywhere. So unusual for us. No snowmen on the green yet though. The sky is glowering, no other word for it really. It feels ominous and it's difficult to tell the difference between sea and sky today. For the first time the 'shelter' that is part of the 'longest bench' is covered with snow and the beach is covered too. The river Arun estuary can just about be seen - that long line going out into the sea is the river wall marking the far side. Other half has just got in and says snow is 4-6 inches deep in the street.

My cold is still hanging around, just cannot shift it. So I am staying tucked up warm watching the England bid for the FIFA world cup. I'm not really a great football fan but it is a good presentation I think. Eddie Afekafe has done really well comparing it and presenting how football has helped him. Four years ago he was unemployed and now he helps manage the community programme. Great lad! I won't tell you, of course, about Cameron, Prince William, David Beckham, Bobby Charleton and masses of others. Can't remember them assembling such a presentation team before. We'll have to wait til 3pm for the result.
