Blue and White Blur

This is probably the most blurry picture I've ever uploaded to Blipfoto. I took some 'better' ones this morning but just on my way home I spotted this kingfisher. I had seen a flash of blue out of the side of my eye a few weeks ago and although I've never seen a kingfisher on the river I was sure that was what it must have been. Since then of course not a sniff. Until today.

Not a very good picture I'm afraid and the subject flew off a moment later to ensure this was a good as it got. This is not the kind of job to which my camera is best suited (come on santa get a grip!). Nonetheless this is my blip.
