Diarmuids adventure

By diarmpearse

Nice one squirrel

Out for our lunchtime walk, very quiet our german friend and co worker is always amused at how we seem unable to cope with the weather.
One chap who was going about his business was this little fellow who went darting past us before having a quick dig in the fresh snow before coming up with this!

When the snow is piled up high
And the year is at December,
Can he really still remember
Where he hid them in September?

I have watched him from my window
And he always seems to know
Where the food he hid is waiting
Buried deep beneath the snow.

And I wonder
(Do you wonder?)
How he knows where he must go.
