St Anthony's Chapel

Went for a wander with a couple of friends round Arthur's Seat, met more than one South African Ridgeback, a pack of whippets, a couple of Irish wolf hounds, and all their owners.

There were folk skiing, and snow boarding, and having snow fights

We found an excellent place to sledge, but it was in the shade and we soon got a bit cold. So we toddled over the top of Hunter's Bog to find a wonderful run of packed snow in bright sunshine hooching with sledgers. My pals were very patient whilst I bombed down the slope (on one occasion colliding with a black lab. Sorry Bramble). Then we trotted down to the Sheeps Heid for a drop of cider.

Back home for bacon butties and a quiet evening in.
