Hands of the Past & the Future

I did a family photoshoot today. Grandparents and grandson and great grandpa. Aw, history!

These are hands that have worked and lived, held babies, washed vegetables, and dug in gardens and flower beds. Hands that have tenderly loved, served up discipline and folded in prayer. Her little grandson has yet to throw a ball, or feed himself, yet are hands just the same that will one day, hold babies, wash vegetables, and dig in the yard. Love tenderly, serve up discipline and come together in prayer.
