The Buller # 8

In search of a blip at 6pm this evening, I went for a drive to a spot about 500metres outside the village known locally and originally as "The Gravel Pit". In the 4 years I've lived here I hadn't driven down there before. It was beautiful. The only sounds were the water and the birds. I would have stayed longer but I'd forgotten to apply sandfly repellant before I went, so to the tune of slapping flesh I quickly grabbed a couple of photos. This is the better of them although the foreground gravel is disappointly over exposed.
