New Purchase

A friend in the village bought himself a new car a couple of weeks ago. I've been teasing him, that it's an 'Old Man's Car!" Anyway he took me for a spin in it today .... I wouldn't tell him, but, very smart!

I'm not sure smart is the right word to describe the beast, it went VERY fast, and made nice throaty sounds!

Had a days rest today... well I didn't walk. But I cooked Sunday lunch for 14! For pud we ate John's Christmas pudding which was delicious. The men in the village have an annual Christmas pudding competition, which is judged by the WI. John didn't win, but he came a respectable 5th. And the pud tasted great!
