Trains leave here for civilization every day

I love train stations. I love South Station not least of all because even though their board is digitized, they still announce updates to it with the sound that accompanied the old flip-style boards. I'm easily charmed sometimes. ;)

This is my favorite liminal space between a rather amazing flight (one entire family and maybe 10 stragglers--they talked and joked the entire time) and Rhode Island, where I find fresh air, warm hugs, and life again.
