SPOTTED IN A STREET IN OSLO # 6

This statue, "Just be seated", is located in Stranden street nr 3 at Aker brygge outside the restaurant and bar D/S Louise.

During the summer there are table all around it and it gives the place great atmosphere.
The restaurant is located in the old mechanical workshops where steam-ships where built.

"Just be seated" is made of the artist Per Ung. He used a real table, chairs and glass from the restaurant, and modelled for his own piece himself. The female model was his wife, sculpture maker Elana Engelsen. Per Ung is today one of Noways most famous sculpters, and known for his sensual and lively style.
