running towards nothing

Blue skies

Again, I'm making the most of the area directly outside our offices for a quick lunchtime shot. This is the outside of the John Foster building which now houses the Liverpool Business School, LJMU. This part was originally the chapel when the building was Notre Dame Convent and School. It is now named after the architect John Foster, Liverpool Corporation Surveyor from 1824 to 1835. It says on the university web site that Foster was described by one of his professors as "a most amazing youth, but too idle to be anything more than a dinner companion".
