Smash!

It was very spectacular!

This used to be a glass globe lampshade. It hung near the kitchen window by which I was stood trying to improve my phone reception. I was probably gesticulating wildly again when a flailing hand glanced the glass orb enough to knock it from its hanging cable.

I tried a one handed catch.

It impressively managed to bounce once.

It then shattered into a hundred shards shooting across the wooden floor, making a fantastic noise that tinkled on for ages.

I apologised to my caller and carried on the conversation as best I could.
