Great day, despite...

Had the day off today. The builders were replacing the kitchen worktop that they failed to seal last time (needless to say water got in) and we decided we needed to get us and Hannah out of the house and leave them to it.

We decided it would be a perfect excuse to see Hannah's Granny. The day was perfect, Hannah spent most of the day smiling at Granny which in turn puts a smile on everyones face.

Then the builder rang up to tell me the worktop they haad ordered was too short!!! (Do you think it was or do you think they messed it up whilst mitring out the holes in it?) He explained they'd do their best to put the old one back together and back on to the cupboards and would come back again next week when another has been delivered.

For some reason this has amused my lass and I. We'll see whether next weeks schnanigans are still amusing or annoying.

P.S. Yesterdays secret has lead to some good news, now I just have to wait.
