More Icicles

Thanks goodness the big thaw came today.
After the bitter coldness of the last couple of days heaped on top of the substantial amount of snow, it was a welcome 3?C that started it all melting.

All of a sudden, cars could move and we could walk on our path.
However, with the melt came the icicles and some of them were substantial.

There were bigger ones round the side, but the angle and the light meant this was the shot for today. I pulled a sheet of ice about 2'x3' and an inch thick off the roof of the conservatory as I was a bit worried about the weight on the glass.

Back in to the office tomorrow, at long last.
