Evening 2

There was not much colour in the sunset tonight either, but it was more dramatic than yesterday.

The rain came with the nor'wester, instead of the sou'wester that will surely follow. It caught me unprepared and I had to dash about lashed with big raindrops to get the plants in. All the urgent ones are now in the soil- squash, zucchini, cucumbers, cape gooseberries and some of the lettuces. The rest of the lettuces can wait.

I harvested two zucchini from the early plants that I started on a windowsill.

One year ago: a visit from a pair of goldfinches.

Changed my blip in case somebody was offended by the sight of pulp fiction paperbacks. My apologies to the people who have already commented.
