Meltwater

It has been almost 4 months since I blipped the water from the exact same spot, at that time tranquil and calm, the trees a riot of green. Today, with the thaw in full swing (sorry folks, it's not going to last, the long range forecast isn't that great!) the weir was a crashing torrent of noise and vibrancy.

Thanks to everyone for comments on the Waxwings yesterday. On Flickr in 24 hours it has got around 1,500 views, which for me is an astounding tally, though it missed out to a snowy Pathhead viaduct for the Evening News' picture of the day (you'd think they'd want a change from snowy shots of stuff). But, it DID make the BBC's pics of the week for Scotland.

Quite pleased all in all.

AND it's Friday. TF.
