The German Horse Man and his Christmas Caleche

This doesn't catch the essence of today - I should have got photos of the frost lit by the early sun on the ground of the poplar wood below La Borde, the sun on the newly plowed soil, which made the Marquier's field look like an Aran jumper, the sun through the smoke where Francine was burning the brush on the hill opposite Les Cazazils.

I didn't. And it's probably just as well because the camera's stuck in black and white.

Instead here is the German Horse Man with his Christmas Caleche, taking children around the Place in the town. Outside the St Maurice he speeded up, and I've just caught the horse going into gallop mode.
