Focus on the Punto

B has recently decided she needs a new car. The Punto is too small and too old. Last Sunday we had a quick look around at what turned out to be nothing at all. Today we arranged to look at a Peugeot 306 estate which, for the money, was rubbish. And so ended up agreeing to buy a four year old Ford Focus estate. Once we'd had a drive we couldn't say no. The difference in quality and design was like chalk and cheese. We (or rather B) went 33% over budget but got twice the car - isn't that always the case?
