Margo's chair.

I have not ventured far today, but did take the dogs to run around at the farm; no interesting wild life to be seen. I took this shot for another site to which I belong that has a Sunday theme, This week it was 'furniture still life'. I was foxed by this. Most of my furniture has a fairly still life. This chair does travel to shows; it belongs to the owner of the boots and Margo. She was at one time, one of the best known show jumpers on the East Coast of America and won several hundreds of thousands of dollars. She was very quirky, and when her previous owners would take her away to be ridden by different riders, she would spit them off in a heap, and keep doing so until she was returned to her favorite rider. Eventually, said rider and his new wife gathered up the money they had saved for a farm, and bought her. They never regretted it. She is in her late twenties and has been retired for some time now; she lives happily at the farm and rules the roost in the mares paddock.
