Down to the yard to check the engine bilge before heading up Tynecastle way to take in the Hearts vs Aberdeen game. Many jovial Dons fans turned up in Santa outfits. Ho ho ho, indeed! At five nil down they were tramping out having delivered their presents early (that's enuff football 'humour').
Back to the boateee scene - this wee snap is of one of the yachtie crowd's boats - a bloke who has bought a seriously big metal fishing boat and moors it on the yachtie pontoon. And why not, indeed. So after footy, and some swift beers I duly arrived at the Corinthians Christmas Party. Prizes were dished out, but best newcomer seemed not to feature among the categories. My boat could possibly beat a bathtub with a sheet for a sail - perhaps I should donate the trophy for next year.
