Christmas cake...

Yes it probably should have been made weeks ago but for the Reid household we are right on schedule. This is the first time in a few years that we have actually dug the recipe out and got to work:-)

So the fruit has been seeping in sherry for a few days, time to put all the ingredients together and get it in the oven. Then to wait for that wonderful smell...yum.

Once baked it can look forward to daily whisky nips over the next week...
