Toad in the hole

I know I seem to be taking pictures of food a lot lately. However..it's the highlight of my day. Currently, my days are filled with old people I'm not allowed to take pictures of and DIY, which is exciting for me, but not really anyone else.

So...Toad in the hole. I'm told that you're supposed to whisk the batter...oops. Looks quite nice there, but it ended up a little bit of a pancakey mess!
