Road blocks, Port au Prince

The results where annouced last night, it took hours for the announcement to take place and planned or not, the lateness of the annoucement most likely minimised unrest yesterday evening. However this morning the country is angry, the streets have no traffic and we can here candidate posters being pulled downa destroyed on the road below the house. There is alot of tension in the air emphasised bylack of car horns and traffic. Tyres are burning blocking the road below.
In the late morning we here distant chanting growing closer, and large groups of Martelly supporters pour down the road heading for Petion-ville and downtown, there are hundreds of them. Reports tell us the group grows larger as it moves through the city heading for downtown.
We sit tight today, today Haiti is making its views known, they are fighting back.
