Same view!

This is the same view which I have photographed so many times, but it always looks different. Yes, the drive to work is never boring.

We were talking about this again in the staffroom this morning - about how lucky we are to live in this place. All I have is a 15 minute commute to work, with the bonus of scenery like this. I can't imagine going back to the long commute through traffic jams every morning.

Sights like this really set you up for the day. And what a day - school concert tonight, with about 50 kids to rehearse and organise today. A lovely girl in S.5 came up to me off her own bat yesterday, and offered to help at the concert, even though she is not taking part. She is going to man the door for me, and said this morning that if there is anything else she can do between the end of school and the concert just to let her know. You see, she is staying around and doing some revision in the library, and has brought a packed tea - she lives in Torridon, the village at the foot of the mountains you see across the water.

..... kind of restores your faith in human nature.
