Fieldfare

After a catch up day at home yesterday, had to get out today to enjoy the balmy temperatures (+5). Left Mrs L at home making Mince Pies.

Ended up at Tyttenhanger where the highlight of the day was a flock of over 30 Fieldfares, the first I'd seen of them this winter. Members of the Thrush family, they are winter visitors from Northern Europe and will be head back there in March for the production of little Fieldfares.

Back home Mrs L had not only baked her Mince Pies, but also chocolate cake and shortbread, so that's a lot of quality control checking lined up for me.
