A great deal of time and effort has been lavished on this floor this week (largely by my lovely husband since I've been away!) - but the effort is all worth while. Fancy covering this up with a carpet - not to mention dripping paint and filth all over it, and shoving odd bits of mismatched wood all over the place!!
