1st Spin out

Today I had the energy and time to take a spin out on my new Winter bike.

For once the weather was not too dangerous. It was a bit slippy in a few places.

It was quite a slow spin as I had to sort out a few niggles.

Stop the mudguards rubbing, fine tune the gears etc.

Also I went very slowly as I didn't want to end up lying in the road on a patch of ice.

Fastest was 29.5mph, whereas my usual fastest speed for that route is in excess of 45mph!

The photo is of (L to R) Dow Crag, Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam.

Taken near High Nibthwaite on the "East side of the Lake" road which runs up the side of Coniston Water.

I didn't use this lens though.
