On the way back from Aberwystwyth I popped in to look at the kites then came across another murmeration of starlings just up the road from Llanfihangel-Nant-Melan on the A44. There were thousands and thousands. Pity it was so dull and cloudy. They absolutely covered a small grassy hill and as I approached they split down the middle and all took off. It was like invisible hands were ripping a giant black cloth in half. Great noise too.
