Overflowing

This kind of sums up the refuse situation in Edinburgh at the moment - it's nearly three weeks since we had our own rubbish collected, and we are keeping fingers crossed that they manage to get round to us before the next batch of snow that is rumoured to arrive later this week...

I heard today that it's okay to use your brown bin too at the moment, and that the binmen will collect household rubbish from them when they come round. Hopefully that will mean we don't get piles of rotting bags stacking up on the street!
