RTÉ's Kathryn Thomas from The Late Late Show / 7Up Christmas on Ice Celebs on Ice Special interviewing Irish Times journalist, and author, John Waters after he skated for his chosen Charity Wells for Zoe.
11890 Directory Enquiries sponsored John to the tune of 10,000 euros, but were so happy with the entertainment value of his performance that they brought the total to 15,000, all of which will be used in their projects in Malawi.
This sum will make a major difference to the lives of so many, especially when there are no expenses or deductions along the way.
It was a wonderfully entertaining night, thanks to all concerned.
