Tuesday: Bikes for Hire

This is one of things that Boris Johnson has introduced since he became mayor of London, namely bikes for hire throughout central London.  These stands are dotted all over the place.  You can pick the bike up in one place and drop it off in another.  This particular stand was at Waterloo Station and today was it's first day in operation.

I haven't used one of the bikes yet, but I like the idea.
