The flags are out

to advertise cheap and nasty houses being 'built' on the island. The glossy brochure says nothing of energy efficiency, insulation etc. Just tell you that they are 'luxury houses' because they have chrome door knobs. Great. Chrome is very nasty poisonous stuff to mine as well.
They cost loads too.
Weather is blustery, getting a bit colder - more like autumn than winter. Time to hang the washing out. Some folk on the island will purse their lips and tut tut at that.
