Charge!!!

During certain periods of the year, I visit Broughton Down to count sheep (!!!!) that are kept there by Hampshire Wildlife Trust for scrub management. Essentially, I go there sometime during the day, once a week, call them in, feed them and check that they look healthy. I can think of worse tasks to do, I love it, and they now know me enough to be relatively friendly. Or maybe it's the food I bring. Whatever. They are lovely.
I think this guy is certainly one of the alpha males. They are all boys, but this guy likes pushing the other ones around a bit. Now they have all gone to another reserve for better grazing. I miss my weekly trek.
